Sin separates us from the love of God. In sin, we selfishly want to live our own way and never consider the consequences of life without God. The beautiful thing about God is that He looks beyond our sin and openly seeks to forgive us, if only we will ask for His forgiveness. God created us to enjoy an intimate relationship with Him, and He offers redemption and salvation to us for the same reason. He yearns for that close fellowship with us that was made possible through the death and sacrifice of Jesus.

He will always lift us up, if we ask Him to. So what are we waiting for? He is the God of wholeness and restoration! – Ephesians 2:13
