How many times have we left God out of our decision making? Then, when we get ourselves into a difficult situation and realize too late that we are “in a fix”. On the other hand, when we commit our plans to the Lord, they will be met with success. How is success guaranteed? Even though God’s plans for us may be different from ours, His ways are best and He knows the future. By allowing God to have our goals, dreams and plans, they can be directed by His guidance and will succeed according to His plans. Does not living life this way make far better sense than trying to make our plans work out in our own strength? I do not know about you, but I trust God with my plans much more than I trust myself! Let us cast our dreams and plans on God knowing that He will bring them to pass, in His way and time. Amen. – Proverbs 16:3
