The Good News of Jesus Christ

Christians are to invest in the lives of others. All the material riches of this world will pass away, and only those who believe in Jesus will go to Heaven. As Christ followers, we must devote ourselves to helping people meet Him. God offers Salvation to the entire world. However, there are still some people who have not heard that Jesus loves them, and died on the cross for their sins (John 3:16). The reality is that some people closest to us may also not know the gospel. There are many ways to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ, but person-to-person evangelism remains one of the most effective ways of telling people about the Savior. This enables the unbeliever to get their questions answered and their concerns addressed in a personal way. Those who accept Christ can then be discipled through Biblical messages, visitations and encouragement to attend a Bible believing church—steps which are vital to spiritual growth and maturity. We as believers are responsible for reaching the lost, Jesus said, “As the Father has sent me, I also send you" (John 20:21). Investing in souls is a pursuit of eternal value. — Mark 16:15-16
