Who is the best friend this world has ever had? Jesus, of course. When we invite Him into our hearts, Jesus will be our friend. Our friend forever. Jesus has offered to share the gift of everlasting life and everlasting love with the world and with us. If we make mistakes, He will still be our friend. If we behave badly, He will still love us. If we feel sorry or sad, He will comfort us. Jesus wants us to have a happy and meaningful life. He wants us to be generous and kind. He wants us to follow Him. The rest of course is up to us. We can do it! And with a friend like Jesus, we most certainly will. When we are in a situation where Jesus is all we have, we discover He is all we really need! Jesus is our Savior and Protector, let us have the courage to trust Him completely. Today, let us praise Him and honor Him, and live according to His commandments. — John 5:13
