Have you experienced a recent set back? If so, look for the lesson that God is trying to teach you. Instead of complaining about life’s sad state of affairs, let us learn what needs to be learned, and change what needs to be changed. Let us view failure as an opportunity to reassess God’s will for our lives. Let us view life’s inevitable disappointments as opportunities to learn more about ourselves and our world. Life can be difficult at times. And everybody makes mistakes, but our job is to try and make fewer mistakes. God is able to take those mistakes, when they are committed to Him, and make of them something for our good and for His glory. Let us ask God to show us the errors in our ways so we can confess our wrong doings and correct our mistakes. Let us ask God to forgive us and thank Him for His unconditional love. Let us ask Him to help us grow each day in wisdom, in faith, and in our love for Him. — Psalm 40:1-3
