The sustaining and providing hand of our loving Heavenly Father is always outstretched towards us. Yet we are often prone to forget the source of all the good that comes into our lives. The bountiful provisions for our physical needs and the amazing grace that makes us joint heirs with Christ all come from God. Let us acknowledge our dependence upon Him and humbly say “When I consider Your Heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have ordained, what is man that you are mindful of him?”(Psalm 8:3-4). Surely, every perfect gift is from above. Humility in our lives stems from the realization that all glory and honor belong to God, for the good gifts He has given us.  Let us thank Him, and praise Him in worship this day and everyday. — James 1:17
