Perhaps the heaviest burden we try to carry is the burden of mistakes and failures. What do we do with our failures? Even if we have fallen, even if we have failed, even if everyone else has rejected us, Christ will not turn away from us. He came first and foremost to those who have no hope. He goes to those no one will go to and says, “I’ll give you eternity.” We are the only one who can surrender our concerns to the Father. No one else can take those away and give them to God. We are the only one who can cast all our anxieties on the one who cares for us. What better way to start the day than by laying our cares at His feet! – 1 Peter 1:3; Philippians 3:9-11; Hebrews 6:18-19
