We all have wants and needs. Easter meets our needs so that we can deal with our wants. Without the Resurrection, faith would be empty, for Christ would have been defeated! The cross would not be our assurance of forgiveness, and our hope of eternal life would be lost.
Every need we have is met because Christ rose. A realized Easter is one in which we are fully aware of what Christ's Resurrection means. Christ lived and died to redeem us. He rose from the dead in defeat of death and to offer us a deathless life.
A personal relationship with Him offers us a profound regeneration, so that we can live a new life, now as well as forever. A realized Easter is recognizing that the same power which raised Jesus is available for our problems. — 1 Corinthians 15:17-19
