Our God is a specialist in kindness or in what Solomon called “great and generous love.” Kindness is one of the most beautiful virtues. Kindness is showing someone gentle consideration and generous love even when you get nothing in return. God truly is kind. He continually turns His face towards us and shows us unfathomable love that we have not deserved nor earned. His welcoming hands are outstretched to us, even when we wander far from Him, like the prodigal son (Luke 15:11-32). God is the kindest Father in the universe. God continues to show kindness to us even when we make mistakes. Let us pray for more of this kindness and understanding in our world today–Ephesians 4:32.
