Our response to God greatly determines His presence in our lives. If we seek God with all our hearts, we shall find Him (Jeremiah 29:13-14). The Lord wants to have fellowship with us. Our sins separate us from God’s will and plan for our lives. God desires a close walk with us—He will make His presence real and personal if we welcome Him. If we repent of our sins and truly commit to God’s will, we can look forward to an intimate fellowship with our Heavenly Father (James 4:8-10). We are to seek Him continually and not be content to enter a new day without the assurance that God is walking beside us. If we want to know God better, we must study His Word, and we must also not forget the place and power of prayer. Our actions must reveal that we are genuinely seeking to know God and walk in His footsteps. God promises us that if we seek Him, we shall find Him (Matthew 7:7). He promises never to leave us nor forsake us. — Hebrews 13:5
