A Pattern of Good Works

A popular refrain attests that a person’s character is what/who they are when nobody’s watching. How true! When we do things that we know are not right, we try to hide them from our families and friends. But even then, God is watching. If we sincerely wish to walk with God, we must seek to follow His commandments to the best of our abilities. When we do, our character will take care of itself—and we will not need to look over our shoulders to see who besides God is watching. Often our character is at greater risk in prosperity than in adversity. Let us be people of integrity such that our words and deeds will be a testimony for God today and always. — Titus 2:7
