What shall we choose to worship today? Shall we worship our Creator, or do we focus on material things and earthly possessions? Shall we worship our Savior, Jesus Christ, or do we unconsciously bow down to the false gods of pride and avarice? All of humanity is engaged in the practice of worship. Some people choose to worship God, and as a result, reap the joy that God intends for His children. Others worship possessions and focus on personal gratification. They do not realize that the consequence of such choices is the distance from God and the suffering that accompanies it. Every day provides opportunities to put God where He belongs: at the center of our lives. Let us worship God with our concentrated minds, as well as with our wills and emotions. Worship Him—and only Him—today, tomorrow, and always. — John 4:24
