The Worry Dilemma

Worry is thinking turned toxic. Fear chokes and strangles our capacity to think, hope, dream, and act. It twists the joy out of life. Someone once explained it as “getting dressed up like mountain climbers simply to climb over molehills.” Worry changes nothing except the worrier. It can become a habit if not curtailed. Worrying is like doubting God’s capabilities. Fear disturbs the incredible peace resource God makes available to us. Our only concern should be to put God first in our lives. To seek first the kingdom of God and to be right with Him. How can putting God first banish worries? Once we commit our lives to Christ and accept His righteousness, we need to hand over our burdens to Him, who tells us that He has our back in several ways. He has us covered. He is in control—Psalm 55:22, Isaiah 41:13, Matthew 6:25, Matthew 11:28-29, Philippians 4:6-7, 1 Peter 5:7
