We often focus our thoughts and energies on accumulating earthly treasures, leaving precious little time to gather real and true spiritual gems. Our material possessions can do great good or terrible harm, depending upon how we choose to use them. As believers, our instructions are clear, we must use our possessions following God’s commandments, and we must be faithful stewards of the gifts He has seen fit to bestow upon us. God’s Word admonishes us to seek first His kingdom and His righteousness. Let us honor God by placing no other gods before Him. God always comes first. Today, let us trust God entirely for our needs, both spiritual and material. Let us thank Him for His protection and His Love. — Luke 12:15
