There are no problems our God, the One who created the mighty oceans and does with them what He wishes, cannot handle. Psalm 114 recalls the exodus of the Israelites from Egypt, the Red Sea parting (Exodus 14:13-31), and showcases God’s great power. When the turbulent seas of adversity are threatening, we need to remember the tremendous power of God. As the waters parted, so too can the obstacles that seem overwhelming to us because they have no resistance to God’s power. What a mighty God we serve! Let us humbly bow before God, knowing He can take care of whatever troubles we may face. The power of God within us is greater than the pressure or problems around us. Happiness is ours when we delight in the Lord! — Psalm 114:7
