In Scripture, Jesus is called High Priest, Prince of Peace, Lamb of God, Bread of Life, Light of the World, the Good Shepherd, and of course, the awe-inspiring title of 'King of Kings.' These acclaims remind us that our Savior, Jesus Christ's power, far surpasses that of any mortal ruler or situation. It suggests to us the splendor of the ultimate kingdom in which He forever reigns. What is most amazing is that we who know Christ as Savior are children of the King. So, how should we respond? We should extol Him with praises each day. Our primary task is to worship His Majesty. What a difference it can make in our attitude and demeanor if we remember that we are children of the King! — 1 Timothy 6:15
