The Bible tells us that God knows our every thought and every word on our tongue (Psalm 139:1-4). Biblical truths assure us that we can communicate with God. Oh, what a comfort this assurance gives us, especially when we are perplexed or in deep distress. We do not have to worry if we cannot find the words to express our thoughts and feelings. For our loving God knows all, including what we want to say. Nor do we have to worry about having the proper posture. What God cares about is the posture of our hearts. What a wonderful God we serve! No matter how much we falter and stumble, God loves us and hears us. Our Heavenly Father's heart of infinite love responds to our needs and emotions with comforting, widespread, and open arms. So keep praying and patiently wait for God's response, which might not be what we want or expect, but is most certainly the best for us. — Psalm 139:4
