How can we know if our faith is not truly in God? Let us ask ourselves the following questions:
Where do we turn when we experience a crisis?
When we are hurt or afraid, to whom do we go?
When we have a financial problem, whom do we want to tell first?
Where do we seek comfort when we are under stress?
God often uses other people as His method of providing for us. But let us be careful not to misdirect our faith by relying on His provisions instead of towards the Provider.
God may meet our needs through friends but let us always put our trust in God first.
We must learn to trust in the only One who could deliver us. Let us go straight to God when we are in need. God is the only One who can indeed provide for us. — Jeremiah 17:5
