Worry is a sin caused by a lack of faith and a failure to believe God’s Word. Unfortunately, it is a sin that many Christians find hard to overcome. Let us think of the things that worry us. How many happened? Yet, we remain anxious over what may or may not occur. Jesus said that it is futile to fret, for worrying can not change anything (Matthew 6:27). Our always loving and gracious God knows all our needs and circumstances. Thus, we can be rest assured that He is always in control, no matter what comes or goes. It is better, therefore, to be wise and trust in God. As worry does not improve the future, it only ruins the present. — Matthew 6:34
