Salvation is not an event. It is a process. Salvation is God's gift, for there is nothing we can do to save ourselves (Ephesians 2:8-9). God gives us victory over sin through Salvation, and we become new creations in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17). God wants to continually build new things into our lives as we walk with Him. God wants to fill us with His redeeming joy. Hence, it is in our best interest to repent of our sins and yield our lives to God. With this reformation, we are to work diligently on our faith. We must exemplify God in our lives such that the grace and mercy of Salvation are thoroughly demonstrated in our lives. — Philippians 2:12-13
