As followers of Jesus Christ, we are not guaranteed an easy life. Indeed, we may face many trials, difficulties, and hardships throughout our lives. So how do we respond when facing overwhelming obstacles or problems? Should we panic? Should we give in to discouragement? Should we give up? Absolutely not! When God calls us to a task or allows a trial, He assumes full responsibility for removing the hindrances that will keep us from succeeding. Therefore we must respond in faith. So what is it that is looming before us now like an impossible mountain? Work, relationships, finances, or health? No matter what we face or how seemingly difficult the task is, we should always look to God for victory. He is our eternal unfailing hope who can move obstacles when we trust Him. —  Matthew 17:20
