The  Bible tells us that we are the salt of the earth. Christians should help preserve and flavor the world unless the ‘salt’ has lost flavor. The Bible says if the salt has lost its power to flavor anything, it is suitable for nothing. Hence, we have to be careful to live in such ways that we have the power of Christ in our lives and can support others. We are to be like salt—useful, helpful, and a good influence on those we encounter. Are we an excellent flavor to our family, friends, and other Christians? Let us live that way! — Matthew 5:13-16
