God helps, protects, and guides those who seek Him with all their hearts. Though He never promises that life will be free of hardship or pain, He holds dear those who love Him and call unto Him. No one likes trials and suffering, but through faith, we may begin to understand how God can use them for our good and His glory. God surrounds those who love Him like a fortress surrounding an ancient city. He covers us on every side so that nothing reaches us without first passing through His protective shield over us; essentially, the best security system ever created! As believers, knowing this, let us venture forth in trust and faith — Psalm 121:7-8
