In Psalm 27, David reaffirmed that God was his sure defense. May God also show us the way, light our path, and give us mindfulness and emotional courage. Hence, we have no reason to fear life’s ups and downs. Psalm 27 teaches us to pray in the following ways:
1. To begin with, reviewing what we know of God and His nature.
2. Pour out our minds and hearts in complete self-emptying of concern.
3. Affirm our desire to follow God’s will and ask God to teach us His ways.
4. Leave the problems to God and do not wrestle them back by worrying.
5. Then wait patiently in confidence and witness our Father in Heaven’s awesome goodness at work.
