God is our Refuge and Strength

The story of Jehoshaphat in 2 Chronicles 20 is one of the most inspiring stories in the Bible. It is a story of how God promised His people protection and deliverance when they faced a powerful enemy. In verse 17, Jehoshaphat is told, “You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the Lord will give you.” God fights our battles for us; all we have to do is trust in Him.

As believers, we are not exempt from trials, but we are assured that God is with us every step of the way. He promises to be our shield and our refuge in times of trouble. Psalm 46:1 says, “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” This verse reminds us that God is always with us, and we can find strength and comfort in His presence.

When we face challenges, we should pray to God and seek His guidance and wisdom. The story of Jehoshaphat is a reminder that God is with us, fighting our battles and providing us with the insight and strength we need to face any challenge. Let us always remember to trust in Him, seek His guidance, and find comfort in His presence.
