As believers, we have good reasons to be positive in our thinking. This assurance is because our Heavenly Father understands our needs. Because God cares for us, we don't have to be anxious (Luke 12:29-30). Life does not consist “in the abundance of the things we possess, so let us make it our own decision to be rich towards God.” (Luke 12: 15; 21). We do that by seeking God's Kingdom and purpose for our lives and laying up treasures in Heaven and not for ourselves in this life. Jesus said, “take heed and beware of covetousness” because one day, like the man profiled in Luke 12's 'The Parable of the Rich Fool,' we will leave it all behind. Again our confidence is in our God, who promises to care for our needs. However, to be clear, we need to remember that God has promised to supply all our needs, and not necessarily our wants. He loves us and cares for our well-being! God is all we need! — Luke 12
