Entering into a saving relationship with God, by accepting Jesus Christ into our lives, should result in a changed life. Christ’s presence will affect every part of our lives. Such that all things become new. Not some things, but all things (2 Corinthians 5:17). We shall have new thoughts, new attitudes, new values, and new sensitivities. These new priorities will dramatically affect our relationships. We shall view everything in our lives from a Christ-like perspective. Christianity is not something we add to our lives; it is life!
As born again Christians, God gives us new hearts and new minds so that we can think differently. He gives us new emotions, so we feel differently about life matters. We become sensitive to sins and should no longer be comfortable with sins. Our being born again means we are more aware of what is honoring to God and what is not. Our relationships need to be guided by the Holy Spirit.
We need to ask ourselves if we have noticed the changes God has brought to our lives since we accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. These changes should be noticeable as a testimony of our new lives in Jesus Christ. So as we go about our day today, remember, we influence people and future generations by living for Christ each day! — John 3:3
