DIY (do it yourself) is not always the best option when it comes to handling life's difficulties. Yet, it seems we often wait till the point of desperation, before we ask for help. The good news is that another path is available: humbly recognizing our limitations, going to our Heavenly Father, and casting our cares on Him. Why shoulder the burdens alone, when our Almighty God wants to carry them for us? Our choice to trust in God enables us to place our every care into His hands. Peter reminded believers of this—casting their cares upon God, in 1 Peter 5:7. Why should we carry the load of our burdens one more day? Christ stands ready to take them. What have we got to lose?
