Count your Blessings

> The topic today, “Count Your Blessings“ hands us a challenge. The Almighty has done gracious things for us. He saves us from sins and makes us His own children; He grants us protection and provides for us. Indeed, God has been faithful! Hence, no wonder the psalmist, in adoration, said, “Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases” (Psalm 103:1-3). We should always count our blessings, appreciate His goodness, and serve this gracious and good God all the days of our lives. That is the secret of receiving more from Him!
> ~“When upon life’s billows you are tempest tossed, When you are discouraged, thinking all is lost, Count your many blessings, name them one by one, And it will surprise you what the Lord hath done. Are you ever burdened with a load of care? Does the cross seem heavy that you are called to bear? Count your many blessings, every doubt will fly, And you will be singing as the days go by.”~
> So, amid the conflict, whether great or small, do not be discouraged, God is over all. Help and comfort He will give—that is His promise and He does not fail. Today let us count our blessings instead of our hardships. And thank the Giver of all things good, for gifts that are simply too numerous to count. Let us have an attitude that is pleasing to Him, as we count our blessings today, tomorrow, and every day. — Joshua 24: 13; Philippians 4:8
