The trials and sorrows of life may feel like a call to escape, run away, or respond to life in disheartening and destructive ways. But we will do well to listen more closely to God’s guidance/promptings and take our anxieties to God. The trials we face are reminders that our trust is to be in God, not in circumstances or things. The same God who created the universe, will protect us if we call out to Him. So ask Him, and then serve Him with willing hands and a trusting heart. And be rest assured that the world may change moment by moment, but God’s love endures: unending and forever unchanging. If God has you in the palm of His hands, your life is secure in Him. Hence, you can venture forth into places and relationships, the challenges, the very heart of the storm, and you will be safe. Let God guide you along the path of His choosing and follow in the footsteps of His Son today and every day. — Matthew 6:34
