Do you seek wisdom for yourself and for your family?

Of course you do. But, as a thoughtful person living in a society that is filled with temptations and distractions, you know that it is all too easy for parents and children alike to stray far from the source of the ultimate wisdom: God’s Holy Word. When we commit ourselves to daily study of God’s Word, and when we live according to His commandments—we will become wise in time. So, as a way of understanding God’s plan for our lives, let us study His Word and live by it. When we do, we will accumulate a storehouse of wisdom that will enrich our lives, the lives of our family members, our friends, and our world. "Knowledge can be learned, but wisdom must be earned. Wisdom is knowledge … lived"— Sheila Walsh. Let us be people of wisdom and discernment. We must seek God’s wisdom not as the world gives, but as the Lord gives. Let us ask God to lead us in His ways and to teach us from His Word, so that our wisdom might glorify His Kingdom and His Son. — James 1:5
