The popular saying about actions speaking louder than words is true. As believers, we must ensure that our actions reflect the changes that accepting Christ makes in the lives of those who trust Him as Lord and Savior. God calls each of us to follow His will and respect His commandments. If we are to be responsible Christ-followers, we must realize that it is not enough to simply hear God’s instructions; we must also live by them. Doing God’s word is the responsibility each of us must ascribe to, and when we do, our Heavenly Father will reward our efforts with a bountiful harvest. May our words and deeds serve as a testimony to the changes Christ has made in our lives. Let us praise God by following in Jesus’ footsteps, so others see Christ in us. — James 1:22
