> God leads believers out of sin for a purpose: so we can be His servants. We have the privilege of serving the Almighty God, of being His light of truth and hope in a very dark world. God therefore wants us to remain free to serve Him. Are you available to serve your Redeemer and Savior? Are you prepared to share with others the forgiving love that He has poured into your life? Are you willing to extend the gift of acceptance on behalf of the One who has graciously accepted you as His child? If we entangle ourselves in unhealthy relationships, in sin, we may not be able to join God in His activity when He invites us to. We may want to but be unable to because of sin. So let us keep ourselves free from any encumbrances that might restrict our services to God when the invitation comes. And then when the Lord directs us, we should be open to serving Him in the manner He asks of us. Let us respond to His call to service with obedience and love. —Leviticus 25:55
