God-filled

We work hard to plan and provide for a comfortable life. We use our energies and skills to get life to a place where it is tolerable. We want to be responsible for ourselves and those we love. But in so doing, we sometimes engineer ourselves out of a place of receiving grace. Such that Christ becomes an addendum to an overfilled life, and God becomes an afterthought/side helper to accomplish our desires. God is called upon to help when there is sickness or trouble, but not needed for guidance and Salvation. Thus, what is perceived as the good life is actually an obstacle to an extraordinary life lived at the center of God’s will and purpose. As such, we must keep these questions in mind: If we arrive at where we are headed, where will we be? If we achieve our goals, what will we have? If we accomplish our purpose, will it be God’s best for our lives? — Revelation 3:4-6
