God never becomes preoccupied or neglectful towards us. Scripture teaches that God looks upon us with the same love, interest, and concern as a nursing mother looks upon her infant. God used the infant and mother imagery in Isaiah 49 to describe how He looks after His people—for He is more sensitive to the needs of His children than even the most loving mother. God anticipates our cry for help even before we can call out in need (Isaiah 65:24). This assurance that He will never forget us is one of the most comforting promises God has given us. Let us not let the difficult circumstances we may be facing convince us that God has forgotten us. Let us not assume that God is more concerned with others' needs than He is with ours. We should be reassured to know that our Heavenly Father loves us that much! We must take all our concerns to Him. He is eagerly waiting. — Isaiah 49:15
