As believers, we have access to a powerful source of strength and encouragement: God’s precious anointing. In the Bible, anointing refers to being chosen and set apart for a specific purpose by God. It’s a sign of God’s favor and blessing in our lives. In 1 John 2:27, we are told that we have received an anointing from God and that anointing teaches us about all things. When we feel lost or uncertain, we can turn to God’s anointing for guidance and wisdom.
In Isaiah 61:1-3, we read that the Spirit of the Lord is upon us, anointing us to bring good news to the poor, bind up the brokenhearted, and proclaim freedom to the captives. A reminder that we are called to make a difference in the world, to be a light in the darkness, and to bring hope to those who are hurting. So, how do we access God’s precious anointing? It starts with prayer and surrender. We must be willing to submit to God’s will for our lives.
As we go about our daily lives, let us remember that we have access to God’s precious anointing. Whether facing challenges at work, struggles in our relationships, or feeling lost and uncertain, we can turn to God for guidance and strength. Let us surrender our lives to Him and trust He will anoint us for His purposes. May the potent anointing of the King of Kings, the Lord God Almighty, who was, who is, and who is to come, fill us with superlative peace and joy. Amen.
