Throughout the Bible, we see that God relishes doing the unexpected. Sometimes it is like folding back the waters for His people to cross a sea on solid ground or forgiving and embracing those who repent their sins. Extraordinary events that point people to God the Father filled Jesus's time on earth. He calmed the storms, healed the sick, and raised the dead. He is still in the process of doing these remarkable feats. Jesus is willing and ready to calm the storms of our lives! We serve a living God whose thoughts are not like ours and who is not confined by our finite imaginations (Ephesians 3:20; Isaiah 55:5). God wants to bless us with far more than we expect. When we allow God to surprise us and provide for us, we shall always be fulfilled! — Isaiah 55:8
