“Rock of Ages, cleft for me,
Let me hide myself in Thee,
Let the water and the blood,
From Thy wounded side which flowed,
Be of sin the double cure,
Save from wrath and make me pure.”
When we think about our struggles, do we need a place to hide? Do we need someone to shelter us from life's assault? Do we need the assurance that we have been forgiven? We can find shelter and security in God. Let us not stand in life's storms alone. Let us seek God's sanctuary and ask Him to protect us. Jesus's death washes away sin's stain. Let us make sure we ask Him to forgive us of our sins. We need to get close to the Rock of Ages. It is life's safest spot. No storm can overwhelm us when God's care safely surrounds us. — Psalm 18:30-36
