God is Holy, and all His attributes share in that perfection. God’s holiness is reflected in His perfect righteousness, truthfulness, and faithfulness. God’s holiness assures us that we can trust His will because He will always do what is right and just (Genesis 18:25). Our Heavenly Father’s complete truthfulness reassures us that we can take Him at His word. For “God is not a man, that He should lie” (Numbers 23:19). God’s perfect justice means that God will be undoubtedly fair. His perfect faithfulness tells us that He will never let us down. The Bible tells us that, “It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not” (Lamentations 3:22). As such, we can have absolute confidence in our righteous, just, truthful, and faithful God. — Isaiah 6:3
