Incredible Assurance

Sarah became a mom at the age of ninety, and Abraham was one hundred years old when God blessed them with Issac, the son God promised them many years earlier. In His perfect timing, God answered their prayers and kept His promise in His divine way. Imagine what this period of waiting involved—skepticism, doubts, and perhaps hopelessness and despair. We, too, can be in such a season of waiting. Do we feel the heartache and despair of waiting for answers to our prayers? Seemingly, forgetting God’s great faithfulness to us in the past. Are we wondering if God will come through? The thing is, God always comes through on His promises. God will never leave us or forsake us; He is dear and near. God promises us many things like protection, provision, and His divine presence. These are some of the things that only He can accomplish so that the world may see His work in our lives. Though we may doubt, nothing is impossible for God. This new year, let us be committed to trusting God, the God who makes the impossible possible. — Genesis 18:14
