We have a choice every day: To involve God in our lives through prayers and times in His Word or to go it alone. One ultimately yields peace, while the other brings anxiety. When we meditate on the Scriptures, we have assured blessings. This is because when we ponder the Word deeply, analyze it, consider it thoroughly, and ask for insight into it, our thinking pattern changes. For our, Father shall reward us with wisdom. When our minds are filled with God’s ways, His goodness, will, provision, power, and principles, we shall have a sense of peace and steadfast faith no storm can tear apart. So today, let us choose to involve God in our lives by meditating on His Word and seeking Him in prayer. Let us commit our lives to Him and seek understanding of His will and His ways. — Psalm 1:1-2
