Jesus understands our fears and problems because He endured the same humanly troubles we face. Isaiah 53:3 tells us that “He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain.” Our assurance is that when we describe our struggles to God, He doesn't just brush us aside. Instead, our loving Father, Savior, Comforter, and Deliverer relates to our distress. Knowing that God loves us so much should help us when we are going through difficult times. In tough times, Jesus Christ is forever our Light and Salvation, whom/what shall we fear (Psalm 27:1).
