Keep Your Eyes On God

In times of tranquility and prosperity, we face the constant danger of turning away from God to pursue our own goals and desires. Yet, when we are in the midst of trouble and pain, we more easily acknowledge our helplessness and dependence on God. Hardiship may lead to the temptation of doubting God or even abandoning our faith. However, We must remember that no crisis is beyond God's control and that nothing can separate us from His love. Similarly, we must diligently guard our hearts in good times by remembering that our peace and prosperity are always gifts from God. It is always right to keep our eyes on God and trust in His wisdom at all times. No situation is beyond our Heavenly Father's control! When God delivers us, let us tell others of His mercy. We are His Light in the world, and people are watching our actions and behaviors. Our families, friends, neighbors, colleagues, and children can learn from us about trusting God from our reactions during periods of ease and seasons of strife. — 2 Chronicles 20:12
