A Christian is to be the Light of the world. The purpose of our lives is to be a commanding witness for Jesus Christ in a dark world. What we believe, what Christ means to us, and what He has done in our character and lives cannot be hidden. The technological achievements of our day have tended to make us subdued witnesses. We are afraid to share the simplicity of the gospel in such a complex world as ours. We forget that our complicated, computerized lives have only intensified our personal needs. Our challenge is to keep our minds filled with the truth of Christ and our emotions fired with the warmth of Christ so that we shall attract the people around us with His quality of life.
