Load-bearing faith and prayers

We know that the promises of God are true, for they have been fulfilled in our lives time and time again. Jesus teaches, guides, protects, heals, comforts, and warrants our complete trust and love. We need to tap into the worry dismissing faith that Jesus offers. Like David, can each of us say to our Lord, “My times are in Your hand” (Psalm 31:15)? Can we confidently say, “The Lord is my helper, I will not fear. What can man do to me” (Hebrews 13:6). True, we may have concerns about the days ahead. As Scripture reminds us, we “do not know what will happen tomorrow” (James 4:14). But we do know that whatever happens, God is always on our side (Hebrews 13:5). That knowledge can lighten any burden of worry about the future. By The Grace of God, we can face our fears with courage. Worry causes predicaments, but prayer resolves difficulties. — Hebrews 13:8
