Let us allow the Lord to be the stability of our times. Our task is not to try to be a stable person for the Lord, but to allow Him to be our stability. His stability provides:

A wealth of salvation; wisdom and knowledge- three great resources to draw upon today. The Lord has saved us through the cross. We are loved and forgiven, reconciled and regenerated because of His grace. That gives us a willingness to receive His wisdom in for our decisions. The gift of knowledge is His wisdom in application to the challenges of life. Christ stabilizes our lives. The waves around us are no different, but we can move through them with an even course. With Him we have an "equipoise ", an equal distribution of hope, courage and fortitude. He is able to make us stable! Has this triumphant assurance made any difference to you today? ~Isaiah 33:6
