Though we may stumble or falter in our walk with God, God is always faithful. Even when we doubt His promises or do not feel close to Him, or choose to sin, His faithfulness still “reaches beyond the clouds” (Psalm 36:5). We can be sure God will do all He said He would do (1 Thessalonians 5:24, 2 Thessalonians 3:3). God’s flawless character and indisputable truth back up His promises. In those times, when we do not feel close to God, let us remind ourselves that God cares for us. His feelings for us, and His ability to bring forth miracles never changes. So, when we experience fear, doubt, or worry, let us remember God’s unchanging faithfulness and love and not allow those emotions to overwhelm us. God has promised never to leave us nor forsake us — Hebrews 13:5; Psalm 36:5
