Make Room For God in Your Life

Isaiah proclaimed that when God comes knocking at the door of our hearts, we must welcome Him and make room for Him in our lives. Christ's presence will add new dimensions to our lives. We do not merely “add  Christ on” to our busy lives and carry on business as usual, but when Christ is our Lord, everything changes. Our lives become brighter and fuller. We can anticipate God blessing others through us. As Christians, how do we make room for Christ in our lives? We must repent of our sins. We must allow Christ the freedom to do what He wants in us. We live our lives with the expectancy that Christ will fill us with His power and enable us to do things in His service that we have never done before. “All glory to Him who alone is God, our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord. All glory, majesty, power, and authority are His before all time, and in the present, and beyond all time! Amen” (Jude 1:25). — Isaiah 54:2
