We live in a world that often breeds anxiety and fear. When we come face-to-face with tough times, we may fall prey to discouragement, doubts or depression. But our Father in heaven has other plans. God has promised that we should lead lives of abundance not anxiety. In fact, His word instructs us to "be anxious for nothing" (Philippians 4:6). But how can we put our fears to rest? By taking those fears to God and leaving them there.
As we face the challenges of our daily lives, we may find ourselves becoming anxious, troubled, discouraged or fearful. If so, we must turn everyone of our concerns to our Heavenly Father. The same God who created the universe will comfort us if we ask…so ask Him and trust Him. Then watch in amazement as the anxieties melt into the warmth of His loving hands. Let us not allow troubles and distractions preoccupy our thoughts and trouble our souls. Remember when we are anxious we must turn to God in prayers. When we are worried, we must ask God to give us faith to live courageously. God loves us and He will protect and take care of our needs today and forever. 1 Peter 5:7
