Each new day is a gift from God, and if we are wise, we should spend a few quiet moments each morning thanking the Giver. When we begin each day with our heads bowed and our hearts lifted, we are reminded of God's love, His protection and His commandments. Then we can align our priorities for the coming days with the teachings and commandments that God has placed upon our hearts. Let us develop the habit of spending quality time with our Father in Heaven. He deserves it and so do we. Let us walk daily with the one who loved us and gave Himself for us. Let everything we do and say be in His perfect will. Help us to follow Your direction for our lives every day. Make us sensitive to the many gifts of encouragement we receive every day and help us to be a source of encouragement to all who cross our path. – Isaiah 50:4-5; Proverbs 15:30
